A family app
built around
character,
not screen time.

A home hub for the whole family — a shared journal you'll want to read in ten years, partner check-ins that actually go somewhere, age-adaptive activities for the kids, and gentle scripture-rooted guidance through the everyday stuff. Screens are part of it — never the point.

Why we built this

Kids are growing up in a world that's very loud,
very fast, and not always honest with them.

AI is everywhere. Information is cheap. Attention is the product. We're not alarmed about it — but we are paying attention to it. Our kids will need to know who they are before the internet tells them who to be.

So we built a family hub anchored in something timeless: the Fruit of the Spirit, twenty-five practical principles, and a daily rhythm of journaling, reflection, and prayer between parents and kids. Scripture shows up where it's relevant. Never preachy. Always grounded.

— Eddie & Jazmin, parents of three

How it works

What a week feels like.

Setup is a few minutes — but the point isn't the setup. The point is the rhythm that follows. Here's what an ordinary week looks like once it's in your hands.

Step 01

A shared family rhythm

You and your partner journal the small wins and hard days. The kids see the praise. The hard parts stay between the two of you — until you decide they're ready.

NightlyParents + partner check-ins
Step 02

Kids learn what schools won't teach

Adaptive activities meet each kid where they are — generosity for a 3-year-old, project management for a 10-year-old. The trait, not the score, is what we're tracking.

On their owniPad & Android
Step 03

Off the screens by sundown

A built-in activity finder pulls local parks, museums, and nearby events. Family game ideas served daily. Screen time exists — but the better tool is the one that gets you outside.

DailyLocal + offline
One app. Six things your family actually uses.

Most family apps stop at chore charts.
This one goes deeper.

Because the goal isn't compliance — it's formation. Six tools that build one thing: the kind of people your kids are becoming.

01 / 06 — Seeds

A reward currency that grows character.

Kids earn seeds for chores, kindness, and learning. Parents approve each one — so seeds mean something.

  • Approved by a parent, every time
  • Redeem for play, outings, or saved goals
  • Streaks and weekly summaries
02 / 06 — Family Journal

For the kids, your partner, and yourself.

A shared memory keeper that goes beyond milestones. Write to your kids. Write with your partner. Write to yourself. AI offers gentle, scripture-rooted guidance — never preachy, always grounded.

  • Partner check-ins: how you see each other, what you appreciate, where you're struggling
  • Share proud moments straight to the kid interface — "Dad was proud of you after your first soccer game"
  • Kid time capsules: delivered at a future birthday or milestone
  • Gentle-but-firm AI coach, rooted in scripture
  • Private by default — you choose who sees each entry
03 / 06 — Learning Activities

Games that build the nine fruits, not just ABCs.

Each activity maps to a trait — patience, kindness, self-control — with a trait engine that tracks real growth over time.

  • 16+ activities, ages 2–12
  • Trait engine, not empty stars
  • Adaptive difficulty per kid
04 / 06 — Parent Approvals

Nothing happens behind your back.

Chores, creations, rewards, screen-time requests — all routed to the parent for a one-tap yes or no.

  • Kids see: "Waiting for a parent"
  • Photo proof attached to chores
  • Activity log of every approval
05 / 06 — Curated Media

Content that reinforces what you're teaching.

Shows and videos that align with your values. No algorithmic rabbit holes. Parents pre-approve; kids watch with peace of mind.

  • No algorithm, no autoplay trap
  • Family rating system
  • Counts against daily screen time
06 / 06 — Beyond Screens

The best screen time is the kind you don't use.

Yes, kids earn screen time with seeds — and it locks by default when time's up, no loopholes. But the real win is the app pulling them off the couch: family game ideas, activities you can do tonight, and a local activity finder for parks, splash pads, museums, and events in your area.

  • Earn screen time with seeds — locked by default when it runs out
  • Family game & activity ideas served daily
  • Local activity finder: parks, splash pads, museums, and events near you
  • Kids can vote on activities to suggest to a parent
  • One-tap parent override when life calls for it
FRUIT 04OF THE SPIRITPATIENCE
The nine fruits

Patience

Waiting well. Pause, breathe, and respond instead of react — at the grocery store, with a sibling, during homework.

James 1:19 · Galatians 5:22–23

The 25 principles

Beyond the nine fruits, twenty-five everyday principles.

The fruits are who we're becoming. The principles are how we get there — Monday morning, Tuesday meltdown, Saturday chores. Four tiers, growing with the child.

Character
Be right

Internal formation. Knowing why you do what you do.

  • AdaptabilityRoll with changes without a meltdown.
  • CommunicationUse your words, say what you need.
  • OwnershipTake care of it like it's yours.

  • CourageSpeak up and do right even when it is hard.
Wisdom
Return to the source

The check on everything below. Without it, leadership becomes ego.

  • HumilityLet others go first. Remember you're not the biggest thing in the room.
Adapts to every age

A three-year-old and a ten-year-old
don't need the same tools.

The same app meets each kid at their stage. Tap-and-drag for toddlers, leadership and creation tools for older kids. The trait is the constant. The interface grows up.

Santi
Age 3

Character through play.

At three, Santi can't read — but he can tap, drag, and feel proud. Adaptive activities teach generosity, patience, and pattern recognition long before school touches them. Everything reads aloud, every screen celebrates the right thing.

  • Tap-and-drag games tied to traits, not just letters
  • Every word read aloud (ElevenLabs voice)
  • Wins celebrated by name; no infinite-scroll dopamine

Kylie
Age 10

A place to lead, create, and mentor.

At ten, Kylie isn't just earning seeds — she runs a Creator Studio, project-manages her own goals, and helps shape activities her younger siblings will play. The same app grows with her into the leadership tier.

  • Creator Studio: design games, write stories, build for siblings
  • Project planning + own PIN-protected dashboard
  • Leadership-tier principles unlock as she's ready

Time capsules

The memory you'd forget.
The feeling you almost did.

Every journal entry can become a time capsule — sealed for a future birthday, a graduation, a wedding day, or whenever you choose to release it.

Santi may not remember the day he hit his head hard on the pavement and we drove to urgent care. But ten years from now he'll see what happened — and how Dad felt about it. Not just the event. The love behind it.

  • Write what happened — and how you felt about it
  • Attach a photo, a voice note, or both
  • Set the unlock: a birthday, an age, a date you choose
  • AI weaves the week's entries into a short narrative — one you'll actually want to re-read

The day you scared me a little

You climbed the planter at the library and slipped. Mom held you while we drove to urgent care — a small bandage, a long hug, no stitches. You were brave and I was terrified. I sat in the parking lot afterward and thanked God you were still here.

AI summary

A scary fall, a quick recovery, a parent's prayer of gratitude. Theme of the week: presence under pressure.

Our Journal — partner check-in view
Built for parents, too

Marriage is the soil. We start there.

A weekly partner check-in — how you're seeing each other this week, what you appreciate, where you're both struggling. Both partners rate the nine fruits on themselves and on each other. Then the AI weaves it into a shared reflection, a joint prayer, and one focus for the week ahead.

  • Weekly self + partner assessment on the nine fruits
  • Shared journal: write to your kids, your partner, or yourself
  • AI-generated weekly reflection + joint prayer (cached, never resold)
  • Gentle, scripture-rooted coaching — never preachy
  • Private by default. You choose what goes to the kid view.

Who this is for

Every family that's doing the work.

The Fruit of the Spirit isn't a configuration of parents — it's the kind of people we're becoming. The app is built to meet you where your family already is.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

Two-parent homes

Partner check-ins, shared journal, mutual quests, and a weekly reflection that pulls you toward each other.

👩‍👧

Single parents

Setup never assumes a partner. Every solo flow works. Invite a co-parent, a grandparent, or no one.

🏳️‍🌈

Same-sex couples

Gender-neutral language end-to-end. Two moms, two dads — pronouns and prompts adapt to your family.

👵

Multi-generational

Grandparents can join (read-only) when parents share recaps with them. Coming with the consent-first share framework.

🌐

Bilingual households

Spanish support is in the works. Scripture and AI guidance translate alongside the UI.

✝️

Mixed-faith homes

The framework comes from Galatians 5. The practice — patience, kindness, self-control — is universal.

Common questions

You probably want to know…

Who is this app for?
Any family that cares about raising people of good character — single parents, two-parent homes, blended families, same-sex couples, multi-generational households where grandparents help raise the kids. The framework is rooted in the Fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5), and scripture appears where it's relevant — but the daily tools (chores, journal, activities, partner check-ins) meet you where your family already is.
What devices does it run on?
Today it's a web app and PWA — works on any modern browser, installable on iPad, iPhone, or Android home screens. Native iOS and Android apps are on the roadmap after closed beta.
How does the "time capsule" thing work?
Time capsules are an early-design feature — not yet shipped. The plan: mark a journal entry to be unlocked for a specific kid at a future date or age, then revealed in-app when that day arrives. Until that feature ships, you can write a normal journal entry and keep it private; everything stays encrypted at rest.
What about data, privacy, and consent?
Everything is private by default. Journal entries, photos, recaps, and time capsules each have per-artifact sharing — you choose exactly who sees what, and you can revoke any share without losing the underlying entry. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. No ads. No third-party trackers. We never sell data.
My kid is under 5. Is this too old for them?
Activities start at age 2 with tap-and-drag character games and read-aloud guidance. Chore and seed mechanics kick in around age 4 when kids can understand "earn and spend." The parent-side tools work from day one.
Can I override the screen timer?
Yes — one tap from the parent dashboard, or a 4-digit family unlock code from the kid device when you don't want to sign in on yours. Life happens: long car rides, sick days, grandparent visits.
Can grandparents see what's going on?
On the roadmap. Grandparents will get a read-only view of recaps that parents explicitly share — never raw journals or kid play. Built on the same consent-first foundation as everything else.
